"The Crown Prince ordered Khashoggi's assassination"

According to the US Central Intelligence Organization (CIA), the Washington Post wrote that the order to kill the dissident journalist Jamal Khashoggi was given by the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia, Mohammed bin Selman.

The most important evidence of this, the Crown Prince's brother of Saudi Arabia's Ambassador to Washington Khalid bin Selman directed Khashoggi to Istanbul to pick up documents that he needed for the planned marriage to a Turkish woman.

Khalid told Khashoggi that he should go to the Saudi consulate in Istanbul to retrieve the documents and gave him assurances that it would be safe to do so.

While the CIA asserted that this direction was made by Muhammad bin Selman's order, the spokesperson of the Saudi Embassy in Washington, Fatimah Baeshen said that Khalid had no phone call with Khashoggi, regarding the consulate and that the CIA's results were "wrong".

In the news, the CIA's investigation into the role of the crown prince in the murder also benefited from information from foreign countries, telephone calls and voice records, as well as some of the 15-person team going to Istanbul directly linked with Bin Selman. (ILKHA)
