Emine Şahin, who was taken into custody by the police because she said that "this is a standing up" while she was passing through the area where the 10 November ceremonies were held in Edirne, was released with the decision of judicial control.

Evaluating the appeal of lawyers, including attorneys from HUDA PAR, MAZLUMDER, and the Lawyers Association, Edirne 1^st Criminal Court of Peace decided to release Emine Şahin on the condition of the judicial control.

The lawyers stated that the release of Şahin by judicial control decision was also another violation of the law and said that she should be acquitted.

Emine Şahin, who passed through the ceremony area on 10 November in Edirne, said "this is a standing up" by referring to the participants' "stand of silence".
