Making a statement on the subject, HUDA PAR Istanbul Women's Branches stressed that the duty of Minister Selçuk is not to normalize illegitimate relations, but rather to make efforts to protect the family structure.

Magazine programs, Series, news releases, advertisements and publications that are not compatible with the morals of the society are deeply shaken by the family institution, which is the basic structure of the society.

"Unmarried relations increased and prostitution normalized by giving the name Love'," noted HUDA PAR Women Branch in the statement.

Calling to Family Ministry, HUDA PAR Women Branch said, "It is not true that the minister of Family Affairs, who has a responsibility to stay on the situation [mentioned above] and to develop measures, makes a statement about an issue that took between two people, who live in a non-marriage relationship and covered by the media unnecessarily."      

HUDA PAR also warned that the wrong ways of life and sinfulness are settled and treated as if it were true to the subconscious of our younger generations. "However, according to our beliefs and values, the institution of marriage and family is extremely valuable and indispensable in terms of raising generations, nurture, and preservation of generation and human dignity."

"Steps must be taken to eliminate all problems that destroy the family"

The statement, reminded of the main task of the Ministry of Family, Labor and Social Services, was finally included in the following statements:

"The primary duty of the Family Minister is to produce projects that will strengthen the family structure and to preserve this valuable structure. The Ministry should form new projects for the purpose of raising healthy generations in souls and physically and take steps towards eliminating all the problems that destroy the family."
