According to a statement made by the Karbala governorship council, 15 million visitors have gone to Iraq and the number of visitors has been increasing.

Karbala governorate council secretary, Mahfouz Al-Tamimi said in a statement, that Karbala hosting more than 4 million foreign visitors, reported that the more are Iranian.

The Iraqi official said he had mobilized all the opportunities of the Karbala Governorate in order to provide services to the visitors.

Yesterday, Deputy Mayor of Karbala Ali Mayali said that 30,000 security guards deployed in order to prevent any casualties. (ILKHA)
