"Reading books will form a generation with increased foresight"
The writer Mehmet Ali Gönül, who met his readers at the Book Fair held in Batman, touched on the importance of reading and book fairs.

With the participation of dozens of authors in Batman, "Batman 2nd Book Fair" was opened with the contribution of Batman governorship and Provincial Directorate of Culture and Tourism.
The fair started on Saturday, October 20, on Justice Street in Batman, east of Turkiye.
Saying that the interest in the Book Fair in Batman stems from the height of cultural value, Gönül, "Therefore, all participants, authors, and the related units who contributed to this work have taken on responsibility. Therefore, we expect the public to show an approach as a reader take on responsibility."
Referring to the importance of reading books, Gönül said, "Reading book will form a generation with more conscious, accounting and increased foresight. So there will be an investment for the future. Everyone who comes here to evaluate this investment in a nice way needs be seen as a hero. Everyone who comes here is in a way invested in this generation, and their concerns should be in this direction."
