Presidential Spox Kalın: "Nothing about Khashoggi issue will remain hidden"
Turkish Presidential Spokesman İbrahim Kalın made important statements after the Presidential Cabinet Meeting on Monday.
In a press conference regarding the meeting of the Presidential Cabinet, Presidential Spokesperson Kalın, in answer to a question about the Jamal Khashoggi issue, said: "Let me highlight that Mr. President's stance has been very clear since the beginning."
"Nothing about this issue will remain hidden and the judicial process will continue until the end. Our ultimate goal, duty, and responsibility are to clear up the issue with all its aspects. It is out of the question to get away from this," he added.
Speaking about US sanctions, Kalın expressed that their expectation is that sanctions should be lifted as soon as possible. "We expect the United States to step as soon as possible. This will be a positive step in the normalization process of bilateral relations." (ILKHA)
