The statements of US President Donald Trump at a rally-addressing voter in Mississippi attract notice.

US President Trump said he warned King Salman of Saudi Arabia that they cannot stay in power for two weeks without the United States' military support. "We protect Saudi Arabia. Would you say they're rich? And I love the king, King Salman. But I said 'King - we're protecting you - you might not be there for two weeks without us - you have to pay for your military,'" Trump said.

Trump did not say when he made those remarks to the Saudi monarch, but they come amid increasing oil prices in the US.

Gun agreements between the United States and Saud stand out

US President Trump made his first international visit to Saudi Arabia after taking office, and with King Salman, he had sold about $ 110 billion worth of American-made weapons. This agreement was recorded as 'the largest arms agreement of its kind in US history'.

The Washington Post, one of the leading US newspapers, wrote that Trump had requested $ 4 billion in financial aid from King Salman of Saudi Arabia to withdraw American forces in Syria.

On March 20, 2015, Trump met Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Selman with charts showing the money he earned from the weapons they sold to Saudi Arabia, in White House. (ILKHA)
