The delegation, which paid a visit and listened troubles experienced by the family of Ramazan Elaltuntaş in Diyarbakır who was arrested 24 years ago for his Islamic identity and barred behind the bars so far and caught gout in prison.

Expressing satisfaction with the visit, Ayhan Elaltuntas, mother of Ramadan, said her son was imprisoned 24 years ago and that they had experienced many difficulties since that day.

"My all friends and I, everyone is waiting for this amnesty. My son has been in prison for 24 years. He lost his father while in prison. Many parents died while their children were in the prison. I also have an illness and waiting for my son to come back," said the painful mother.

Expressing that while her husband had passed away, they didn't let her son attend the funeral, Ayhan Elaltuntaş continued as "They put our children to prisons with the plots and tortures of FETO. Most of the prisoners caught illness in prisons. I am a mother. Will I see my son? I am afraid to die like other mothers before seeing my son. This thought upsets me so much."
