Among the 401 people who were detained in the construction of the airport recently, 24 people were arrested, including union managers, and judicial control was applied for 19 people.

401 people were taken into custody in the construction of the 3^rd Airport in Istanbul recently due to demonstrations carried out by the constructors.

The prosecutor's office demanded judicial control for 15 workers, while 28 workers were sent to the court for the request of arrest.

The court decided to for the arrest of 24 people on the ground of "violating the law on meetings and demonstrations", "damaging public property", "the resistance to police" and "the violation of freedom of work and job" and the release of 19 persons with the condition of the judicial control. (ILKHA)
