Iranian Foreign Minister Javad Zarif said they would never accept the renegotiation of the nuclear deal signed with Iran in 2015 or the addition of certain items to it.

Recalling that the agreement was signed between the five permanent members of the UN Security Council (USA, UK, China, France, Russia) and Germany, "The United States has been obliged to remove sanctions and facilitate trade with Iran. It has also been approved by its members of UNSC."

Stating that the proposal to open up the negotiation on Iran's defense capacity and its regional influence, which is expressed by some European countries to hold US President Trump in a nuclear deal, is also not acceptable, Zarif said "Let me make it absolutely clear once and for all: We will neither outsource our security nor will we renegotiate or add onto a deal we have already implemented in good faith."

US President Donald Trump gave the 12th of May to European countries for the revision of the deal, otherwise, they would withdraw from the deal on that date.

Speaking to the Iranian state television, Iranian President Hassan Rouhani said, "Despite Trump's withdrawal from the nuclear deal, the Iranian Atomic Energy Authority is ready for all expected and unexpected situations." In 2015, it was decided that the Iranian uranium enrichment program would be postponed until 2025 with the agreement signed in the period of former US President Barack Obama. (ILKHA)
