The increasing fuel prices in Turkiye made the drivers to afraid to use their vehicles. In the past days, the price of 30 Kurus of increase in diesel fuel in two times, another raise was made to the gasoline as 16 Kurus per liter.

After the price increase, the price of liters of gasoline for the first time has risen above 6 liras in the eastern Anatolia and Southeastern Anatolia region. After the final price hikes, the price of a liter of petrol was 6 liras 25 kurus and the diesel was 5 liras 82 kurus.

Drivers reacting to the hikes in Mardin, said, "We use the world's most expensive fuel, but still they are not getting enough of increase."

Driver Ahmet Ildem who react to fuel price hikes, said, "There is increasing and mornings and evenings. Where will this end up, is there no one to intervene in this? The price of diesel is reached 6 TL. We always work but we earn nothing. We work only for diesel. I pay 600 TL [~$147] for 700-kilometer distance. The fuel tank was the cost of 180 TL last year, now it costs between 360-400 TL."

"We use the world's most expensive gasoline"

Saying that the steady increase in fuel prices affects them negatively, Vedat Balci asked decrease for the gasoline price which noted that they are using the world's most expensive gasoline.

"Whatever we earn, we pay for the fuel"

Uğur Emek, who expressed that they do not know what they are going to do anymore, said, "We are servicing, but we have zero earns. We work for diesel and gasoline. There is an increase in every week.
