Bus crash in North Korea kills 36 people

The Chinese Foreign Ministry announced that 32 Chinese tourists were killed in the bus accident in North Korea's Hwanghae district.

The Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman, Lu Kang, said that 32 Chinese tourists and 4 North Koreans lost their lives in the accident.

It is estimated that heavy rainfall took place late at night caused the accident.

The Hwanghae region, which is located on the South Korean border and hosts the ancient city Kaesong, is one of the most touristic places in North Korea.
