In Afghanistan's capital, Kabul, 36 people lost their lives in attacking Nowruz celebrations, at least 50 people were injured.

According to the statements of Afghanistan Ministry of Public Health, the attack took place on the road between Kabul University and a government-owned hospital near the Karte Sakhi shrine.

Kabul Police Chief Daud Amin said that the suicide bomber that came as a pedestrian was able to pass through the police spots and detonated himself.

Officials have announced that they have launched an investigation into the security gap. (ILKHA)
