Due to the civil war in her country, Zekiye Musadede, who settled in Turkiye's Gaziantep with her family 5 years ago, is waiting for the day she will cuddle her missing son without knowing whether her son is alive or not. Stating that she had not received any news from her son for 5 years, who went missing in Syria, Musadede stated that she tries to find her son by her means, but could not find her son anyhow.

The family of Musadede who left their homes in Aleppo and settled in Gaziantep's Güneş Neighborhood due to the civil war in their country began a new life in the house they rented. The painful mother Musadede, whose son went missing in the civil war in Syria, is trying to restrain her sorrows by embracing her son's photograph.

Mother of 22-years-old Mohammad Ali Musadede, who had to leave her son behind due to the war in Syria, said that she is watching to meet her son without knowing whether her son was alive or not.

The painful mother, who described the picture of her son as a part of her heart, only wish the war to end in her country as soon as possible, to return her old house and life and look for her missing son.

Expressing that they had to leave their lands in Syria in order to save their lives by the intensification of the civil war, Musadede said: "We exactly did not know who is hitting us. Then we realized that the Assad's soldiers are trying to kill us. That is when we had to flee Turkiye to save our lives."

"I spent what I had to find my son."

Saying she went back to Syria with her older son after 3 months hadn't got any news from her son while they were in Turkiye, Musadede expressed that she spends what she had in order to find her son. "We searched everywhere but we couldn't find my son. They told me that I could find my son only with money. I borrowed money, I had a land, I sold it to find my son. But whatever we did, we didn't find him. I couldn't get news even if he is alive or not," she added.

"A dead-child mother can sleep but a missing-child mother cannot sleep"

The painful mother finally expressed her sorrow as follow: "I have been looking for my son for 5 years and I will always search my son until I die. I do not change a single hair of my son to the world. It is not easy to raise a child until that age and lost. A dead-child mother can sleep but a missing-child mother cannot sleep.
