Scholars and Madrasa Association (İttihadu'l Ulama), reacted to the attacks of Assad's regime on East Ghouta, urged leaders of  Muslims countries, communities, associations and foundations to take responsibility in order to end this bloodshed.

In the statement made from Union of Scholars, it is stated that 'the Eastern Ghouta', which has been subjected to unremitting attacks carried out by Assad regime since 2012 after controlled by the oppositions, has been showing itself again with images that have forgotten the humanity, believers to question their faith, made man feel embarrassed against family.

"The situation is getting worse in Eastern Ghouta, where hundreds of air attacks carried out in the past week and innocent civilians have lost their lives in the past week. So that the heartbreaking calls of Muslims in Ghouta, who tries out to make their voices to be heard through news agencies, and the screams of parents who are looking for their children under the wreckage, festering sores that cannot be closed in the Muslim Ummah. It is the biggest lost exam of all mankind, especially Muslims, in the last century that the Eastern Ghouta people, whom under the blockade of bombs and chemical gases, are also hit by hunger and thirst."

Because of the countries, those support assad, and misunderstanding leaders of Islamic countries, nearly a million people lost their lives since the war erupted in Syria, said in the statement also emphasized that the bloodshed in Syria is blessed as much as Makah, Medina, and Al-Quds. It was noted that the insensitivity and the plot against this genocide were too great to be underestimated.

"In order to end this war, which children, women and the elderly are cruelly slaughtered, tortured, lost their lives from hunger and starvation, all sorts of sacrifices are ignored, we invite the leaders of the Muslim countries, the communities that will mobilize them, and the foundations to take responsibility," read the statement.
