Prime Minister Binali Yıldırım went to Germany to attend the Munich Security Conference, also had a special interview to the Tagesthemen program at the German television channel ARD.

Talking about the operation against Syria's Afrin in the interview, Yıldırım said: "We do not have a threat to the United States. We say this: Turkiye, USA, Germany are NATO members. The US is fighting DAESH with another terrorist organization. We also call: Do not be in activities with the enemy of a NATO member that secure NATO borders. That also does not fit to a great state.
