It is said that at least 17 people have been killed in the armed attack on a school in the US state of Broward, Florida state.

The attack on Stoneman Douglas High School was made after lunch at the local time. The attacker was learned to be a former student of the same school 18-years-old named Nikolas Cruz.

Broward Sheriff Scott Israel making a comment on the Twitter account reported that at least 17 people were killed in the attack.

Cruz was taken into custody when the post-event the school was closed and all the students were evicted.

While no information is available on the status of the wounded in the hospital, the FBI's investigation is continuing. (ILKHA)
