President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan chaired the meeting of the Defense Industry Executive Committee at the Presidential Complex.

A written statement, issued following the meeting, highlighted that the Defense Industry Executive Committee convened under President Erdoğan's chairmanship for the first time after the relevant legal amendment to discuss the items on its agenda.

The statement read that projects, aimed at adding new ones to the domestic and national systems, which further strengthened the security forces and the Turkish Armed Forces in Operation Olive Branch, were discussed, and that new decisions were made in the meeting.

It was noted that in the meeting 55 projects with a total value of $9.4 million were evaluated and also various investment and improvement activities for developing, strengthening and supporting the defense industry were reviewed. (ILKHA)
