Because of heavy snowfall in Bitlis since yesterday evening, 174 roads to the villages were closed.

While snowfall, which is effective throughout the city, brings life almost to a standstill, many vehicles have remained on the road due to precipitation.

While the Bitlis Special Provincial Administration has been working to open access to the closing village roads, municipal squads continue to work to open access to the main pulmonary arteries and alleys that are closing in the city center.

Citizens started working early in the morning to clean their homes and workplaces with snow plow tools.
