The foreign ministers of six countries, Jordan, Egypt, Palestine, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates and Morocco, gathered in Amman, Jordan's capital, and decided to start studying East Jerusalem to be recognized as the Palestinian capital.

After the meeting, Jordanian Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi and Arab League Secretary-General Ahmed Aboul Gheit held a joint press conference.

Stating that prevention of the US decision on Jerusalem was discussed in the meeting, Jordanian Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi said: "There is no cause above of Jerusalem for the Islamic world. We will not accept the decision of the US, our demand is Jerusalem to be recognized as the capital Palestinian."

"Today, we have confirmed the continuation of interaction with the international community to highlight the American decision and illegality. There was a political decision to recognize as the capital of Israel in Jerusalem. Now, we will continue to seek a global decision to recognize a Palestinian state. There is no security, stability, and security in the region as there is no solution that will enable the establishment of the Palestinian state," he added.

After US President Donald Trump's decision to recognize Jerusalem as the capital of the zionists, protests were held in many cities, especially in the West Bank and Gaza.

In the past month, the verdict on Jerusalem vetoed by the United States at the United Nations General Assembly.

The UN accepted the decision against the US decision, and against 9, 128 countries rejected Trump's decision over Jerusalem. (ILKHA)
