Homeless earthquake victims express their desperation to ILKHA

Thousands of families have been homeless due to the 7.3 magnitude earthquake that hit the Iraq-Iran border.

In Iranian Kurdistan where damage is most experienced, homeless earthquake victims are waiting for help to reach them. The earthquake victims who say they are in a miserable situation say that their children are out in the cold weather and they are in a difficult situation in the tent.

Mahmoud Khomeini, an earthquake victim wanted his voice to heard through ILKHA, expressed that they live outside with his one and two-year-old children, said: "The earthquake that hit was ruined us. We do not have anything left, and the weather is very cold in the evenings. I have one, two and three years old children. How can they stay in the tent in this cold tent? We want Muslims to help us."

Miladi Ilyasi, another earthquake victim, stated that they lost everything because of the biggest earthquake in Iran recently. Sümeyye Saadet, who expressed that many deaths are experiencing, helplessly expecting the help from the Muslims, expressed that they needed help so much because they stay outside.

On the other hand, the images reflected on the object are heart-wrenching. In an earthquake where hundreds of people lost their lives, tens of thousands of homes were destroyed. Thousands of earthquake victims in the region live outside having a human drama.
