Prime Minister Binali Yıldırım, who completed his contacts in the US, answered journalists' questions about the agenda before the move to Turkiye.

Before moving to Turkiye, the Prime Minister Yıldırım made a statement to the journalists and said they had an efficient meeting with US Vice President Pence.

Saying that they are dealing with the issues between the two countries, Yıldırım also said they talked on regional issues.

Reminding that he also visited the United Nations (UN) General Secretary Antonio Guterres, Yıldırım said that "We generally spoke about issues on Arakan, and how the UN can take an active role on the issue."

Upon a question of a journalist asked about the extradite of FETO ringleader and the support of the US to the YPG, Yıldırım said:

"Of course, we said what we had to say. We expressed our expectations, and the other side did not tell us anything negative about this. So, they shared that they are aware of our sensitivity to these issues and the importance we give to the issue. We will follow the developments and step forward according to it. Our aim is not tension with the US, is develop relations. Both countries have benefits. Turkiye has benefits, maybe America has more benefits. We will continue to work on the positive agenda." (ILKHA)
