Ankara Metropolitan Mayor Melih Gökçek announced that he will resign from the mayor's office by gathering the City Council extraordinarily on Saturday.

"We had a meeting with our Mr. President. Ankara Metropolitan will hold an extraordinary meet on Saturday and I will give my resignation after saying farewell to my counselor friends," said Gökçek on his official Twitter account. (ILKHA)
