International Help Organization Pro-Orphan which made its name to be heard through international by the aid it has done, has organized a program aimed to inform about the activities help in Innsbruck, Austria. Speaking of the program, Deputy Chairman of International Help Organization Pro-Orphan Hüseyin Ateş gave information about the aid work for the Arakanese.

Ateş, who told a memorial that he witnessed during the charity activities, said: "We went to a house on Eid and an old aunt lived in that house. She passed candy when we were in (which is traditional during the Eid) we accepted it. 'I bought these candy with the last money I had thanks to Allah. But nobody came so far. I was upset that nobody come, but you came and you made me happy," the old woman said."

Stating that they have visited needy families and met their needs with the help of philanthropists, Ateş continued: "Many people do not trust helping organizations. Unfortunately, it is because some organizations have abused it. We make records because we are aware of this and to clear the mind of philanthropists off questions. We also take video records for philanthropists who would ask."

Expressing that they have witnessed the persecution that Arakanese people have exposed Ateş added: "People want to escape to Bangladesh from the persecution in Arakan and they drowned before they reach Bangladesh. Those who made it, are taking into records and send to refugee camps. Bangladesh is already a poor country, so most of the children cannot bear to the hunger and die."

"In Bangladesh camps, with the help of philanthropists, nearly 100 water wells have been drilled, Apart from this, we provide like hot food, clothing, and stationery," said Ateş who gave information on aid activities for Arakanese Muslims. (ILKHA)
