The authorities of civil society organizations in Gaziantep, who evaluate visa crisis between Turkiye and the United States and the relations between the two countries to ILKHA, stated that the Islamic countries, especially Turkiye will approach to the unity of the Ummah as much as they move away from America, Israel, and the West.

Mustazafs Association Gaziantep Branch President Ekrem Kaplan and International Muslim Scholars Association [UMAD] Gaziantep Branch President Ömer Mert have been evaluating the visa crisis between Turkiye and the United States.

Mustazafs Association Gaziantep Branch President Ekrem Kaplan emphasized that the US is the backbone of the massacres in the Islamic geographies, the conflicts in the region, the events of October 6-8 and finally the July 15 coup attempt. Kaplan also noted that moving away from the US will be in favor of Turkiye and the Ummah.

"The closure of Incirlik Base would be positive after visa crisis"

The Incirlik Base, which has become the center of operations for the imperialist powers, Kaplan emphasized that it should be closed immediately. "The closure of the Incirlik Base would be positive after visa crisis. However, it would be even more positive for the Muslim countries to come together at least, especially for their citizens, traders to stop trading in dollars, trade their money."

"They do not extradite Fethullah Gulen since July 15 coup attempt despite the insistent of Turkiye. While they do not respond to any request from the other side, they immediately cut relationship with Turkiye in a short time over a staff who was arrested which claim was made that he is a spy."

Ömer Mert, President of the International Muslim Scholars Association [UMAD] Gaziantep Branch, said, "We can see that when we look at relations between Turkiye and America, that Muslim Turkiye's people have always been within a distance from America. But when we look at to the governments, we see that right and left governments have always been strategic alliances with America. We can see that this strategic alliance has continued in the last 15 years. When we look behind the scenes of the July 15 coup attempt, we see America as the mastermind behind of the coup. America has a very active role in the confusion of the Middle East. Again, we know that America is behind the events in northern Syria. In short, it is very clear that where there is blood, tears, mourning in the world, America is behind it."
