The Iraqi Kurdistan Regional Government Independent High Election and Referendum Council announced that after the referendum, when the Kurdistan declared independence, the republican system would be taken as a basis and that all ethnic and religious minorities would be the main element in the establishment of the state.

At the press conference held in Erbil, representatives of the Supreme Election and Referendum Council were present, while the documentary read by the commissioner member Khalil Ibrahim, stated that the rights of all the differences in Kurdistan were guaranteed.

It is stated that the 15-point document, which guarantees the rights of minorities in Kurdistan and is signed, will be approved by the Parliament of Kurdistan, and all ethnic and religious organizations in Kurdistan will be the main partners of the independent Kurdistan state.

All the sections in Kurdistan have been reported to have been subjected to persecution by the Baghdad administration in the past, it has been reported that Kurdistan will be composed of federal territories and that everyone will govern in their own region.

Also stated in the document that all members of Kurdistan have equal rights to the defense of Kurdistan. The protection of the demography in historical settlements will be paid attention. Kurdish, Arabic, Turkmen, Syriac and Armenian languages will be the official language of independent Kurdistan. Non-Muslims will live their own religion freely, and that there would be representatives of all sections in the session to be written in the Constitution of Kurdistan. (ILKHA)
