"Girl students should be able to study in every school they want with their scarves"

HUDA PAR Education Department has published a message for 2017-2018 academic year. Important contents such as co-education, curriculum, content of textbooks, education in mother tongue, teacher purchases were made in the message. In the message, also pointed out that the application of the girl student who wanted to study in a private school during the past days was rejected due to her head scarf,  emphasized that girl students should be able to study in every school they want with their headscarves and necessary legal arrangements should be made.

Generations which will manage the society have been passing through education institutions said in the message and added: “The higher the quality of education in a society will form the higher level of development. Due consideration should be given to education for a higher education level.”

In the message, “It is extremely important how the curriculum that is the result of the education policy is reflected in the textbooks. The textbooks are the meeting point of the curriculum with the student. The textbooks are perhaps the most important footsteps of education and affects the student positively or negatively according to the content. In this respect, the information and the visuals to be placed must be prepared with great sensitivity and must conform to the values of society, religion and morals. Not to contradict the truths of life and historical facts.”

“The government is obliged to give basic information about Islam to their citizens in the country where 99 percent of them are Muslims, and nobody has the right to oppose it,” said in the message, includes the following views:

“The problem of co-education is still ongoing. The co-education that does not fit the belief, ethics and custom of the society should be removed from the compulsory. Male and female students should be allowed to study in separate schools .The constitutional guarantee should be given to the subject of the head scarf.
