According to a statement made by the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, the number of Arakanese Muslims who fled from the army and Buddhist attacks in Myanmar's Arakan province to Bangladesh passed 123 thousand by the 11th day.

It was expressed that some of the Arakanese Muslims who passed through Bangladesh through the Naf River in the Myanmar-Bangladesh border went to the camps in Cox Bazar city and now the capacities of these camps are exceeded.

The Myanmar government does not allow humanitarian aid to be given to Arakanese Muslims who have migrated or are homeless.

In the ongoing attacks of Myanmar army in Arakan province, many Arakanese Muslims have lost their lives since August 25th. During the attacks, more than 60 villages were targeted and the villagers were burned.
