President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan talked on the phone with Myanmar's leader Aung San Suu Kyi.

According to the information; Erdoğan stressed that the increase in human rights violations directed against Arakanese Muslims led to deep worries in the whole world, especially in Islamic countries.

Erdoğan and Suu Kyi discussed the issue of how the current crisis could be resolved and the delivery of humanitarian aid to the people of the region.

Erdoğan pointed out that Turkiye condemns the terrorist attacks and attacks targeting innocent civilians, and pointed out that the turning of the issue into a serious humanitarian crisis caused anxiety and indignity.
