Diyarbakır Hope Gate Food Bank Association President Sıddık Furkan said that the campaign “Yasins Continues to Distribute the Meat of Sacrificed Animals,” which was started earlier, will continue this year.

Furkan stated that the sacrifice places, distribution list, and sacrifice purchases are coming to an end stage and they said that they aim to reach meat to about 15 thousand needy families.

Furkan said that they are aiming to distribute the meat to all the poor and needy families and said, “Sacrifice places, distribution list, and sacrifice purchases are coming to the end stage. At this moment we are waiting for our people to help to reach meat to the poor families in this regard. I hope that the sacrifice they give will certainly be delivered to these victims' families and we work intensively in this regard so that they can at least have meat in their homes after at least a year.”

Furkan said that they have taken the record of 15 thousand families, “This year we aim to reach to 15 thousand families. This, of course, depends on the sacrifices sent by philanthropists, and now we have around 15,000 families registered. All of these families are waiting for us now. I hope we will try to reach all of these families as we say.”
