Britain urges UNMC to urgent meeting for Arakan
The United Kingdom urged the UNSC to hold an emergency meeting to discuss the situation in Myanmar.
The United Kingdom has called the United Nations Security Council [UNSC] an emergency meeting to discuss the massacres in Arakan.
UK Permanent Representative to the UN, Matthew Rycroft, called on his social media account to discuss the attacks on Muslims in Myanmar's Arakan state.
Rycroft said, “UK requests UNSC meeting on situation in Burma tomorrow. Need to address long-term issues in Rakhine, urge restraint by all parties.” (ILKHA)
