Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu warned that Germany should not behave populist in relations with Turkiye in a statement he made in Warsaw, where he went to attend the meeting of Turkiye-Romania-Poland tripartite foreign ministers.

Çavuşoğlu said, “We see declarations that Germany crosses the line. Elections are temporaries, friendships are lasting. I wish them to be careful. Populist declarations are not necessary before the election.”
