Providing information on visits to Singapore and Vietnam, Prime Minister Yıldırım said he would return to Turkiye on Thursday.

Prime Minister said that he would meet with Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong of Singapore and some contacts at various industrial facilities.

Prime Minister will also meet with Singaporean President Tony Tan Keng Yam. He stressed that for the first time, a prime minister-level visit to Vietnam will take place, giving importance to both sides of this meeting.

“Will the operation be launched on Afrin and Idlib?" On the questioning Yıldırım, said:

“It's like hot spot here. It is not clear who siding with who. Terrorist organizations are taking over power from each other, and there is a serious instability. Innocent people living there and Turkiye pay the price. As Turkiye is neighboring here, there is always a threat. This morning 5 members of the Daesh organization were caught trying to cross the border without permission and they were neutralized.

Yıldırım continued his words as follows:

“It is quite normal for the chiefs of staff of the military personnel of Iran, Russia or other countries to come together. Because there is a joint work to ensure a lasting peace in Syria. There are also studies we have done with coalition forces. The aim is to make the temporary ceasefire permanent and to ensure the final peace process for Syria. There are proposals for this. There are efforts. They come and consult with Turkiye, this is the event.” (ILKHA)
