The Ministry of Interior sent a circular to the governor of 81 provinces under the signing of Interior Minister Süleyman Soylu on the “Feast of Sacrifice Traffic Measures”.

It is stated that the governorates will be notified about the measures to be taken within the scope of the Eid al-Adha traffic control, and the traffic control will be increased during the Eid.

Accordingly, the measures will be increased and the official team will be deployed in 10-20 kilometers on the routes where the accidents are intense.

Traffic controls will be intensified between 16.00 and 20.00 hours, especially between 02.00 and 07.00 hours when bus accidents occur frequently.

During the festival period, bus stations controls will be tightened and drivers over 65 years-old and under 21 years-old will not be allowed to use buses.

During the holiday of Edi al-Adha, except for compulsory cases “Special Freight Transportation Permit” and “Special Permission Certificate”, vehicles will not be allowed to traffic.

There will be speeding checks on the highways, as well as tight control over the helicopter and drone in the air where there is heavy traffic. (ILKHA)
