24 million TL cost of drugs were seized on a ship in Mersin Port

122 kilos 685 grams cocaine were seized in 102 packages in a Liberia-flagged dry cargo ship by Mersin Customs Enforcement and Intelligence Directorate in the port of Mersin. The market value of the drag reportedly said to be about ? 24 million 537 thousand.
As a result of the analysis and risk assessment made by the Directorate of Customs Enforcement and Smuggling and Intelligence, it was stated that a total of 122 pounds and 685 grams of cocaine were seized in the search made on the Liberian flagged dry cargo vessel. The drug which 102 packaged hidden among bananas cost approximately 24 million 537 thousand Turkish Liras.
While 7 people were taken into custody, 122 kilos and 685 grams of cocaine were confiscated.
