Yunus Aysu, who had been in prison for 17 years because of his Islamic identity, his 70-years-old mother Hacire Aysu, passed away during the angiography operation this morning in a hospital due to her heart vessels were clogged.

Mother Aysu, who has long been suffering from heart disease, has learned that her heart vessels are clogged and went to the hospital to be treated. Aysu was immediately operated after the doctors recommended angiography, but the heart stopped during the operation. Despite all the interventions made, Hacire Aysu lost her life.

The funeral of Aysu, taken from the hospital, was buried in the Yeniköy graveyard in the center of Bağlar province after the prayer.

Yunus Aysu, son of Aysu's convict in Diyarbakır D Type Closed Prison, could not attend the funeral. The family learned that applied to the competent authorities for Yunus Aysu to participate in the funeral of her mother.
