HUDA PAR Legal Affairs and Human Rights Presidency made a written statement about the change of “Parliamentary Bylaw” that brought to the Parliament by AK Party and the MHP joint work.

In the drafting of the Rules of Procedure presented in the Assembly, it is stated that the regulations in the first and 15th articles are stated to be problematic and it is stated that if such articles pass this way, they will cause new problems and discussions.

In the first article of the draft, it is said that sanctions were brought for the not reading text of the oath for the deputies and that on the oath, said, “We find the text of the oath and not having the oath and the order of deprivation of rights to be problematic. The oath that is in the Constitution is diverging with the society’s belief and with the realities of the country. The oath has been made on the imposed alienation of the secular Kemalist system in the period of the national chief and the commitment to the principles of the CHP, which does not serve social peace. In a society which consists from different ethnicities, it is an oath that aggrandizes just one ethnicity but struts and ignores others. The text of the oath in the constitution must be changed in view of the social make-up.”

“This is a legal strangeness"

It is noted that the citizens of Kurdish speaking in the period of the national chief were reminded that they were given fines and today they are asked to be sentenced to their deputies as the counterpart of the name of settlements in Kurdish.

“The strange thing is that the discourse that the parliamentarians cannot express and will be punished, people outside the parliament will be able to use to debate and criticize it. This is a legal strangeness.”

“We invite all MPs who have conscience to vote for rejection”

In addition, in the statement, parliamentarians are invited in order to avoid legalization of the constitutional amendment of the TGNA, “We invite all MPs who have the conscience to oppose this arrangement and to vote against it.” (ILKHA)
