According to the information on the internet site of the Prime Ministry Disaster and Emergency Management Authority [AFAD], an earthquake was recorded at a magnitude of 6.3 in the vicinity of Mugla at 01.31 pm.

Muğla Governor Esengül Civelek said that according to the first determinations of the depression that occurred in Muğla’s off in waters of the Aegean Sea, there was no loss of life and property.
