Qatar announced that it was not possible to accept the 13-item list of requests submitted by the Saudi regime, the United Arab Emirates, Egypt and Bahrain, which sanctioned diplomatic relations with.

Qatar Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammad bin Abdulrahman El Tani said in a statement on the subject, “The list of demands is not prepared to be accepted or negotiated, but to be rejected. Everyone is aware that those requests are interfering with Qatar's sovereignty.”

El Tani, who was in contacts in Rome, argued that no one had the right to give an ultimatum to an independent country, saying that they are ready to dialogue with Arab countries if necessary conditions were established.

Arab countries, which cut diplomatic ties with Qatar, submitted a 13-point list to the Doha administration 10 days ago, including their wishes. In the list delivered by Kuwait, it was asked to close down the Turkish military base in Qatar and to end the activities of Doha-based Al Jazeera television.

In addition, the lowering level of diplomatic relations with Iran, and cut the support to Muslims Brotherhood who were in administration of Egypt with the election after the revolution.

It was stated that Doha could face new sanctions if requests from the Saudi regime, United Arab Emirates, Bahrain and Egypt were not met. The United Arab Emirates has warned that Qatar's rejection of requests would mean “divorce” from its neighbors in the Gulf.

Sanctions involving the closure of the airspace and land border have put Qatar under economic blockade. The Qatar administration, on the other hand, describes the effect of sanctions as “more destructive” than the Berlin Wall.

Turkiye is among the countries that support Qatar in the crisis. President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, in order to overcome this tension, was inducted himself and conducted telephone diplomas.

While the fruit, vegetable and dry food materials were being sent to Qatar, the agreement signed for the last year of deploying troops to the Turkish base in the country was accepted as a parliamentary agreement. (ILKHA)
