After the meeting of the Central Decision Board [MKYK] convened under the chairmanship of the President and AK Party Chairman Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, the new spokesman of the party Mahir Ünal was elected, while Ünal announced the AK Party's new Central Executive Board [CEB].

Speaking after the meeting, Ünal stated that evaluations were made on the referendum and the 2019 elections and that the performances of the organizations were also evaluated and that the operations continued in the region were discussed.

Ünal stated that the regulations of the statutes was held in the congress after April 16 and that the change of this regulation has the status of the general vice president and the status of Prime Minister Binali Yıldırım's general vice-president.
