Kim Jong's administration of North Korea has reportedly made a new mid-range ballistic missile test.

In the statement made by the South Korean Chief of General Staff about the issue, it was stated that the “unidentified missile” was thrown from nearby Pukchang and stayed in the air for 500 kilometers.

The statement “Our army is closely monitoring the additional provocation signs of North Korean army and we maintain our military preparation.” South Korean President Moon Jae-in urged the national Security Council to hold a meeting in the Blue House on missile testing.

The US President Donald Trump and White House officials in Saudi Arabia made a statement on North Korea's missile test. It was stated that they are aware of the test and that the firing projected was a “medium-range ballistic missile”. It was also stated that the missile “is shorter than the three missiles tested before”.

Japan reacted strongly to North Korea's missile test. In the statement made in Tokyo, the missile fell into the Japanese Sea, but it was stated that it did not enter the territory of Japan sovereignty. It is stated that the test of North Korea in the explanation is unreasonable and it is a violation of United Nations resolutions.

North Korea tested last week's Hwasong 12, the longest missile of the country. American experts have pointed out that North Korea is a demonstration that ballistic missile development can be extended to the United States. Hwasong-12 reached a height of 2 thousand 100 kilometers and fell 787 kilometers to the western shores of Japan.

North Korea's missile test was criticized by the United Nations Secretary General Antonio Guterres and the UN Security Council during the week. The US then sent a new aircraft carrier to the region to participate in a drill on the Korean Peninsula.

Kim Jong's administration claims that it is preparing to attack North Korea with joint military exercises conducted by the US and South Korea. The United States and South Korea do not accept these claims.

Following North Korea's numerous nuclear missile tests in 2016, President Kim Jong-un announced that he will be present at the intercontinental long-range ballistic missile tests this year. (ILKHA)
