The Association of al-Aqsa Pioneers [BEYMÖD] organized the “1st Meeting of al-Quds Leaders” in the conference hall of Aqsa World College. The event was attended by many Islamic NGO presidents also by local and conservative scholars.

Researcher-Writer Mustafa Özcan, Chairman of Free al-Quds Platform Mehmet Eşin, Scholars and Madrasah Union Istanbul Representative Remzi Uçar and Hamas Official Spokesperson Sami Abu Zuhri participated as a speaker to the program. The speeches made emphasize that the Jerusalem case is a common case of Muslims all over the world.

Researcher-writer Mustafa Özcan, who spoke at the beginning of the program, said that the Palestinian issue is a block issue.

Özcan said that the imperialist powers are behind the zionist israel and continued as, “The Jerusalem [al-Quds] case is not only about the Palestinians or Arabs, it is an Islamic issue, also is the issue of humanity. Israelis came from 110 countries to here. Therefore the dependency of those countries continue. Who was behind the establishment of israel? There were Russia and the US, and today they still are. There is no objection to even from one of the five members of the security council of the UN. This shows that the world order is behind of israel. So we have to balance this block struggle. There should be a power behind Palestine like there are powers behind of israel, there is should be Islamic world behind of Palestine.  The Palestinians cannot succeed in this struggle is we cannot achieve this balance. Because israel is not just israel. The issue is not just the Palestine-israel issue, it is the struggle of blocks those backing them.”

“The freedom of Jerusalem is the freedom of the Ummah”

“Al-Quds is a place of war against the oppressed throughout history,” said President of the Platform for Free Jerusalem Mehmet Eşin, emphasizing that the freedom of Jerusalem is the freedom of the Ummah.

If Jerusalem is under occupation, it is not possible to mention the freedom and unity of the Ummah said Eşin and added, “Every day in Jerusalem, our brothers and sisters are oppressed. A week ago one of a sister named Fatima was martyred by zionist soldiers at the door of Masjid Aqsa. It is a shame for Muslims for the Ummah. The freedom of Jerusalem the freedom of the Ummah. If Jerusalem is under occupation it is not possible to talk about the freedom of the Ummah. Means the l of Quds is not like the lands of Syria, Egypt, and Diyarbakır etc. Jerusalem is a point of war against oppressed throughout the history.”

“With unity and togetherness, Jerusalem will attain freedom”

“One of the greatest elements that will provide the wahdat of the Ummah is Jerusalem,” noted Remzi Uçar, Istanbul Representative of Scholars and Madrasah Union.

“When we end up to protect the Palestine issue, our cause will be blessed. We need mothers those will raise Saladins. Al-Quds is one of a great element that will provide Wahdat [unity] throughout the Ummah.” (ILKHA)
