Three children's mother Aşkın Can who lives in Diyarbakır caught bone tumor in her leg 5 years ago. Doctors said that if the operation is not done, the leg will be cut off, ‘Can’, had been operated once with the help charitable people, but once the tumor is out again.

‘Can’, who lives in the center of Bağlar district, should be operated on due to the tumor in her leg, otherwise her feet would be cut off.

“I noticed swelling in my leg five years ago. I went to the hospital. I was told that the swelling is tumor. And I was told that I would have an operation. The state hospital told me that my leg will be cut off and wanted me to operate in private hospital.”

“I cannot have surgery because I do not have financial possibility”

‘Can’ went to the private hospital and had the surgery but after a year passed the tumor appeared once again in her leg said and added:

“The private hospital wanted a big amount of money again. Because I do not have any financial situation so I applied to the charities. The charities helped me last year. Because of them I went to surgery. But the illness has emerged again. After 6 months and went to the research hospital, they told me that the only way is to cut the leg. I went back to my old doc. ‘Absolutely do not cut off your leg’ he told me. ‘If you have the financial possibility then always have surgery,’ he added. I cannot always have operation because I do not have financial possibility.”

“I'm mother of 3 children, I don’t want my leg to be cut off”

‘Can’, who expressed that they have difficulties in livelihood because her husband has not got a job to work and said, “My husband is a profession of construction but now he has no job. I call to the President, the Prime Minister, to charitable people. I see they extend their hands to everyone who needs help. I feel only they can help me.
