The delegation who came from abroad and participated in the program of Holy Birth organized by Prophet Lovers Platform in Diyarbakır, visited the martyrs’ cemetery of Bulutçeker (Qubik) and Yarımkaş (Gowerin) in Qerejdakh.

The delegation, including the guests from Erbil, Sulaymaniyah, Dohuk cities of Iraqi Kurdistan, from Bane, Serendech, Meriwan and Baluchistan cities of Iran Kurdistan, and Hasan Selman, Eritrean origin, the grandson of Bilal-i Habesh who lives in Sudan, visited the martyrs’ cemetery in Qubik village first.

The delegation under the lead of Mulla Enver Kılıçarslan President of Union of Scholars, went to the martyrs’ cemetery and prayed there. M. Salih gizli, one of residents of village gave information about the life of martyrs.

The delegation then moved to the village mosque to perform the noon prayer. Following the prayer, Abdullah Hemê Murat from Iraqi Kurdistan said that they are very pleased to visit such a saintly and fertile village.

“We, like these villagers, have to deliver this message of religion to our children”

Hemê Murat said here, “We hope that Allah will bring us to that position and make us martyrs judge us with Uhud and Bedr martyrs. Allah let us witness these cause, and keep us on this path. We have to serve the religion of Allah with all of us and we have to deliver the message of this religion to our children, just like the inhabitants of this village. We have to teach this religion to our children, wives, family.”

Hemê Murat, at the end of his speech, thanked to Qubik villagers for the hospitality they showed.

The delegation then went to visit the martyrs’ cemetery in Yarımkaş (Gowerin).

Molla Kerbela Şanlı, who is in a brief statement about the lives of the martyrs said, “10 Muslims were martyred and 40 people were injured by PKK in a minibus include about 50 people, including women, children and elderly people, who went to Diyarbakır center for a feast in the morning of Kadir Night in Ramadan in 1994. Among the martyrs, there were two children aged 12. It was the only bus in the village and there were more passengers than its capacity due to the eve of the feast. Many times before, mines have been laid, but noticed. However, the enemies of Islam consciously choose the eve of the feast and in the night of Kadir.”

Şanlı pointed out that the reason for the persecution on these people is that they are Muslims, they are religious, they want to live their lives according to the Qur'an and the Sunnah, they have been threatened many times before, they are attacked but they are absolutely never capitulated from Islam. Because Muslims were afraid of Allah and could not bow to those who used to be human.”

The delegation left the village after their visit. (Vedat Aydın - ILKHA)
