HUDA PAR Deputy Chairman and Party Spokesman Mehmet Yavuz, who came to Kahta, town of Adıyaman for a various contacts, evaluated the results of the referendum and said that there should be settle account with the West in the new process.

Yavuz regarding the result of the case of murder suspects of Yasin Börü and his friends who were murdered by PKK/HDP in the 6-7 October 6-7 incidents, stated that this case is a case going on in the afterlife.

Yavuz said, “The case of Yasin Börü was closed down as a file. At least the first stage court ended, but the case is continuing for us. The file may have been closed, but the case is not closed, not only in the world but in the afterlife. For us, this result did not resulted as satisfactory.

Yavuz stated that police officers and authorities who remained idle in this massacre should be judged. Yavuz continued as, “We have explained in the previous periods that the conscience of the public will not be satisfied and the justice will not be found without fulfilling three conditions. Firstly, instigators also should be included to this investigation, and deepen of investigation. Secondly, this case should be taken into the scope of the crimes committed against humanity. And the third is the inclusion of law enforcement officers and authorities who have stayed idle during this violence to be included in the investigation. From our point of view, justice will not be manifest in the case of Yasin Börü without fulfilling these three conditions.”

“The politics mechanism should embrace all who voted ‘yes’ or ‘no’

Yavuz made evaluations on the referendum, remained the expression they said before the referendum, “We will continue live together after the referendum,” and said, “At this moment, the politics mechanism should embrace of ‘yes’ and ‘no’ voters. Should not give opportunity to the outbreaks that want to transform every kind of difference on the country into a conflict. The way to do this, is a societal integration and the language used is embraced and inclusive by all segments of society. As HUDA PAR, we see this steps to be taken as the most important to prevent from polarization.”

“Steps must be taken to resolve existing problems”

Referring to the need to read the results of the referendum very well, Yavuz said that the alliance that MHP and the AK Party form as a block does not give the desired result.

Yavuz said, “There has been a result which is far below the expectation of this alliance. Kurdish votes became determinative in the referendum, and according to us, as HUDA PAR, it is a reflection of the ‘yes’ voters’ of HUDA PAR. In the political sense, steps need to be taken to recognize rights of this nation as Islamic and humanistic. As long as these problems are not resolved, organizations will continue to be exists and overtaken by these problems, and will try to design the region according to their plans.”

“Settling account with the West cannot be done by staying in the West system”

Yavuz found it unacceptable that the Western countries intervene to this country whenever they want, said that the time to settle account with the West has come.

"This settling account should not be done within staying in the political designs and systems that the West has imposed on us. It is impossible to settle account with the West by the political designs and systems that the West has put us in. Instead of the political and systematic designs imposed by the West, we can settle account with the West by building political designs that is fit with the culture, customs of our people.”

Addressing the public for resolving social problems, Yavuz said that Turkiye's attitude towards the West should be clarified by taking a referendum to the public with all the affairs of the EU.

Finally, Yavuz said, “We may have all kinds of relations with Europe. It may be economic, social and cultural relations, but it is time for us to say stop for the West that always intervene to our business.” (ILKHA)
