Turkish Supreme Board of Elections [YSK] Chairman Sadi Güven explained the final results of the referendum that held on 16 April. Accordingly, 25 million 157 thousand 463 voters voted “yes”, 23 million 779 thousand 141 voters voted “no”.
According to this, the statistics of the results of the polls are as follows:
Number of registered voters on the voting list: 58 million 291 thousand 898 people
Number of people participating in the referendum: 49 million 798 thousand 855 people
Referendum participation rate: 85.43 percent
Total of valid votes: 48 million 936 thousand 604
Sum of invalid votes: 862 thousand 251
Number of “yes” votes: 25 million 157 thousand 463
The rate of “yes” voters: 51.41 percent
Number of “No” votes: 23 million 779 thousand 141
