Molla Abdulkudus Yalçın, one of the well-known scholars of the region, stressed the need for dissolution of marriage program which they are contrary to Islam and its values.

Marriage programs on some television channels have been complained by thousands of citizens to the Turkish Radio and Television Supreme Council [RTÜK], but the fact that the necessary steps have not been taken in this regard is gaining reaction in every part of the society.

In some programs made under the name of marriage, family values are exploited and taken under the feet, the family becomes disreputable. The ignorance of religious values encourages extramarital affair.

Mullah Abdulkudus Yalcin, who spoke to ILKHA, said that depraved networks would work on "What kind of program shall we make that will remove the people more from Islam, and how to remove Islamic morality in a certain way".

Indicating that these programs have nothing to do with marriage, Yalçın said that those programs have spread prostitution and immorality, "Let's not watch them absolutely. Let us explain our children, our relatives. We have many similar programs like these. Actually we should stay away from TV if it is possible. Instead, we encourage our children to read. Encourage them to read books about our Islamic culture, our history, our values, or else we will become more and more morally more corrupt."

Yalçın continued: "Allah has created humankind from a man and a woman. For this reason, in Islam, how the value of your man is has, the woman has a value according to her. Islam has ordered hijab to value women. Of course this hijab is not just a virtual dress. At the same time, it is a symbol of covert morality, of chastity and of freedom. Openness is likewise a symbol of immorality, slavery, away from Islam."

"Woman has become a commodity"

Stated that women are used as a commodity for commercial, film and movies to move away from Islamic values, Yalçın stated that marriage programs are part of this.

Yalcin, expressed that such programs should be closed, said that it should not be enough to give fines with this program and continued, "It is very simple to fine them. Those who do these are playing with the money. They give there what they already get from us. The best way is that they have to shut down these programs.” (ILKHA)
