"My husband was very upset for my son. He always expressed his grievances and wanted him to be released. He was saying that the son is not guilty and he wanted his son’s file to be reinvestigated. Every day he counted his son's name. My son was in prison for years. We wish that Allah will not leave our right. All these victims are for the Qur'an. I want him to come and see his father. It's not good for his father. His father will emigrate from the world with longing him. There has more than 20 prisoner's fathers who have passed away without seeing their son for a last time. Our heart is burning right now.”

Mustafa Dayan's brother Hanefi Dayan said that his father's illness was caused by his brother being in prison with unjustified charges.

Dayan said, "For 21 years, my mother and father came to the prison to see for my brother. My mother and father have been very upset for my brother. My father got ill because of this sadness."

Dayan, called to the authorities for his brother to visit his father who is struggling with life struggle said: "Here I am calling to the authorities, we would be grateful if they make my brother and my father come together. Because he has been in prison for 21 years. Even if it is once, my brother comes and sees his father and asks for his blessings, it will sufficient for him to see. Before my dad pass away we want my brother see him for the last time.”

Indicating that his brother is being punished with unjust and unlawful accusations, Dayan said, "We want a retrial, as the other Yusufi [Muslim prisoners] families have said. We do not want another request. They must look at the past. Why those people are in prison? What is the guilt of these people? They are in prison because they wanted to do something only for Allah.”

Sabri Dayan, who gave life struggle in the intensive care unit, told the victimhood that they had experienced to ILKHA many times in the past years and he said that his son had no crime.

"Is this your justice?"

Father Dayan, who was called to the authorities to remedy the victims' complaints, had used the following statements:

"If my son has committed a crime and the people have been hurt, then I think they deserve this punishment, but at that time the cruel government has persecuted the Muslim people and they know this now. My son has been held in prison for years without guilt. I am 70 years old, I have diabetes, and his mother is uncomfortable with her feet. Now his mother and I cannot go to see our son because she has surgery on her two legs and I have diabetes. Hundreds of people like my son are enough in prison, enough to find a cure for those who are lying in prison. You reopened the case of Ergenekon even though they do know that all of them are guilty, and they want to destroy the government, you have released all of them. You still keep your children in prison because they teach the religion of Allah to the people.” (ILKHA)
