Muslim businesses, especially Yemenis living in New York City of America, have closed their shops and protested and condemned Trump's decision to prohibit citizens of Iran, Iraq, Syria, Libya, Yemen, Somalia and Sudan from entering the country.

Thousands of Muslims, who have closed their shops and restaurants in the Brooklyn and protested against US immigration policies of US President Donald Trump, prayed in Borough Square.

After the call made by the Muslim groups in the social media, more than thousand shops stopped work. The demonstrators in the squares said that they would then go out on the streets and continue protesting for those who were arrested in the airports, experiencing same straits in different countries and can’t returning to America.

A Yemeni protester said, "Many immigrants from Yemen in America live in New York City, and the Brooklyn is the most populated region of Yemeni, but there are also Yemenis in Manhattan, Queens, and the Bronx regions, and we do not accept any laws against Muslims. This is against human right.”

Protest in different cities of America will continue in the days because of the decision Trump that ban citizens of Iran, Iraq, Libya, Yemen, Somalia and Sudan for 90 days, the Syrians indefinite and the other asylum seekers for 120 days.

After the formalization of the resolution, citizens of seven Muslim-majority countries were not allowed to enter the United States. People who came to the US were detained or deported.

The fact that Trump’ words against Islam and Muslims which he has not avoided during the election period, and then transforms the practice into action, continues to attract the reaction of all Islamic countries, especially Muslims living in the United States. (ILKHA)
