US President Donald Trump's travel ban to citizens of seven Muslim countries including Iraq, Iran, Libya, Somalia, Syria, Sudan and Yemen was protested in many US cities over the weekend.

After the Trump's decision to build wall across the Mexican border, his recent decision for Muslims takes intense reaction. Trump, who continued his racist and anti-Muslim opposition in this period of active presidency, is also protested in the United States.

On Sunday, tens of thousands of people gathered in New York to protest Trump at Battery Park, south of Manhattan. Tens of thousands of people gathered in front of the White House in Washington protested the decision that Trump signed on Friday.

Trump defended the decision

The Air France authorities noted that these passengers are citizens of those seven countries but that not mean they should directly come from those countries. In the continuation of the statement, following expressions were used, "In this way, Air France is implementing and respecting international rules governing air transport" adding that citizens of countries exposed to the ban were warned by pre-flight electronic mail or text message.

On the other hand, in response to these implementations, the previous day, Iran and today the Iraqi governments announced that they would ban the entry of American citizens into their countries.

"In order to protect the rights of its citizens, Iran will act on the basis of reciprocity until the insulting restrictions on the Iranian citizens are removed," statement was made by Iranian Foreign Ministry.

"The decision of the United States to ban Muslims from traveling to this country is valid for a temporary period of three months, but it is an insult to Islamic countries and especially to the people of Iran. The US administration's decision even if it is based on the allegations of fighting terrorism and securing the security of the American people, they will pass a huge "gift" to extremists and their supporters." was said in the statement.
